Accountant gets 6 years jail for promoting tax avoidance scheme

A Gold Coast accountant has been sentenced to 6 years jail for promoting a tax avoidance scheme to clients after the case was successfully brought forward by Project Wickenby, a cross-agency Government taskforce fighting against tax evasion, avoidance and crime.
